…or something similar?
Or is he uplifting her? Hard to tell. He’s unpredictable to me. :-/
His video about her:

And is it right for ppl to tell her that she can sing?

http://www.youtube.com/user/tinaecmusic?blend=3&ob=4

In this video, you can hear that she sings some of the lyrics ON KEY, I think she has potential if it is channeled correctly.

Given proper music instruction and lessons in music theory, I think she can SOAR, but right now her singing isn’t polished yet. (She has some recordings up on her Myspace.)
She could be a Savant-I have an autistic relative who can play BY EAR on piano and keyboard.
Her name is Kristina Chen. “Tina” for short.
And THIS was saddening. I felt so sorry for her when she did this:
;(

“Who cares?” Apparently not you, or the guy under you.
mf east-sorry :O
Fairy-LAWL!
Mf-east-Yeah ppl can spend their time reading better stuff than what’s on Perez Hilton.com.
All in all I feel sorry for the girl. More haters on Youtube than ppl who encourage her.

These are some of the things I have noticed about my husband since I have started to learn about ASD. Our son was recently diagnosed, but I think my husband may have it also. I hate to say anything to him about it, he didn’t want to admit our son had it, I know he won’t think he does.
I was really thinking Aspergers too, but I don;t think he even sees it

Is this indicative of an autism spectrum disorder?

undiagnosed adult (male)
*hypersensitive to sound, touch
*head-banging (and finger-sucking) behavior since childhood
*historically few friends, no strong relationships
*may have difficulty with empathy, social understanding, emotional awareness

however
*no problem in day-to-day tasks or motor skills
*no delay in language development
*no deep intellectual obsessions
*no pronounced difficulty in problem-solving or reading/writing
*communicates well enough to be assumed normal

also possible general anxiety, anger management, attention/hyperactivity issues

Thanks for your comments.
Refraining from projected resentment is appreciated.
You are right that a diagnosis in this context is, to put it one way, “for entertainment purposes only,” (though this goes for any mental disorder).

I also want to point out that this is not a case study so not all information can reasonably be given and I have summarized here what I believe to be the most important points.

My 22 month old son Danny just diagnosed with autism. Lost his speech, lines things up, rocks, bangs head, walks on tippy toes and does not respond to his name and stares at wheels on cars and spins them. All this came on suddenly. We are starting ABA two times a day and occupational therapy 2 times a week through Early Intervention. I may also get him in additional ABA at local hospital. They told me he is not ready for speech therapy. I am afraid to know if he will ever get his speech back. Would we learn to sign? I see developmental ped again on 8/2. When do you think they will tell me if he is high functioning or low functioning autism. Is it too early to learn these things and to learn where he is on the spectrum. I am still in grieving stage and just trying to learn as much as I can. Any advice would be helpful. Also, he just starting not being able to eat. He keeps sticking tongue out instead of chewing. Thank you.

My 17 year old brother was diagnosed with aspergers last week my parents say it honestly doesn’t mean a lot for him. He has had the same girlfriend for 4 years and makes straight A’s in his honors class’s! But i am just wanting an honest answer as to what this mean! What does this all mean? Is my brother going to be different? He has always had social problems and his girlfriend loves him dearly even with his differences!

I don’t have a teaching certificate in Special Education, but I am thinking of adding (to my resume) instances of when I worked with children with special needs to show the extent of my experience of working with children, e.g., autism, learning disabled, etc. Do you think it might be helpful or hurtful? Thanks for your input.
