Last night Panorama did a special on Trolls and how they can wreck peoples lives if it all gets out of hand. Social Networking sites have increased in popularity and also although Facebook encourages people to use their real names it is not hard to get an account using a bogus name thus making you anonymous. Youtube is the same sometimes google allows you to get past the verification system. I believe that all accounts should have to have a valid address and valid mobile or home phone number. I think that the majority of Trolls on Youtube are anonymous and this makes it very easy for them to victimize people undetected. Even when they finally are caught like that Man on Panorama Nimrod7 they just get a warning. There was also a man with Aspergers the same as myself. To my shame he had no empathy for his victim who committed suicide and yet got only 9 weeks in the slammer. My proposal would be to have a system where everyone has to register their real name and address and what ISP they are using before they are allowed to make an account. Police should have new powers to arrest and work with the ISPs to remove their internet access for repeat violations. People who give out others addresses or DOX them should get fined no less than 1000 pounds or a few weeks in Prison for their crime. Should they do it again then it should be 2000 and a month in Prison. The more they do it the more severe the sentence until they get the message. I also think they should lose their internet …
I have aspergers, I have obsessions, I cannot make myself do something that is not an obsession, If I force the issue, my brain will not hold on to information that I am attempting to learn, my body will resist any efforts to change which culminates in sprained this or strained that, my mood plummets into the depths, I become be hell to live with.. etc etc… I hate this…I have tried innumerable times to alter this pattern, failed every turn of the way..There is of course a plus side, when I am obsessing over something I learn everything about it super fast… Anyways, This vid is about my method of manipulating an asperger ‘resource’ I have….
I am looking to get a certification in Special education. I was wondering if there is more of a need in one area than another. Is Autism Spectrum disorders short of teachers? What about cognitive learning disorders?
I am looking for a teaching position that IS NOT in a mainstream school; I am looking for a job working at a school or organization that is specifically for Special Ed/ Autism/ SPD children….
I received some great answers to my last question but many of the suggestions were for people looking for jobs in states other than the one I live in… I am hoping there is someone out there who can help!

Summary for tl;dnw: This is a video response for doodlebuggy15… well not really. Kind of. basically just continuing the discussion of aspie special interests. Link: youtu.be I do not have a diagnosis of asperger syndrome or autism. The only official diagnoses I have are depressive episodes and social anxiety disorder. So basically don’t use this as a guide to diagnose yourself if you relate or something. I have seen such special interests for potentially ‘mundane’ areas in five different cases. 1.Autism 2.Bipolar mania. 3.Stimulant use 4.Nerdism 5.Passion for a hobby. You will not find the 4th or 5th case in the DSM. But who knows in future editions? I intended to talk about how special interests in general make me feel and what effect they have on my behaviour that make me seem to weird to my peers. But of course I need to use examples in my life to make my case, and typical nervousneuron style, get derailed. But I suppose that’s what I like to do. My special interests, or phases as I call them (or well a friend called it that) almost define me. And it most certainly did when I was younger. I no longer introduce myself as ‘Hi, I’m Kris, and I love *insert interest here*’, and it is friends that know about this. My interests are a big part of my life. And sometimes, they can get me into trouble. My interests can be random, or usually they flow into each other. They have been such things like rabbits, space (how typical lol), the titanic, buildings, japan, pokemon …
