It has been said by doctors Im diagnosis with schizophrenia bi-polar and aspergers yes these are my conditions maybe its one im not sure don’t really care to much if I had conditions or not im me no matter what 2nd one not sure if it is schizophrenia psychotic.

I’ve been a teacher for four years, two of which were in a special education setting (multicategorical, early intervention). I recently began teaching a special day class for preschool students with autism spectrum disorders. I’m learning a lot, but still feel lost during the day sometimes and start thinking “WHAT AM I DOING HERE???” I’m in need of some resources. Any ideas out there?

I’m 26 years old and i’ve basically been socially inept my whole life. I’m trying to get back into it now best I can. I joined facebook, the gym, i’m trying to reach out to people but i’m still not doing great with that cause I don’t know what to say. I even went to a bar the other weekend and tried to talk to a girl but she just said I talked weird. What do I do here?

I just got hired to babysit a nine year old boy who has Asperger’s Syndrome on some Saturdays during the Spring and Summer. I know a little about the syndrome, but I’m not sure exactly how best to work with the child. I just want to make sure I don’t do anything wrong and make it the best conditions for him. I’m thinking of writing a book about my experiences of Aspergers Syndrom and living with an Autistic family member.

No matter what happens, nothing is ever my best friend’s fault…even if she is the one to blame. She always places the blame on other people. A few years ago, we found out that she has Aspergers…which really explains a lot, but nothing I can find online lists passing the blame as a symptom. Just the opposite actually. My question is if this is a common occurence or not?

The best thing you can give your AS son or daughter is BALLS–Belief, Acceptance, Love, Like and Support. Children with Asperger Syndrome will thrive in the right environment, for AS brings with it great gifts–creativity, honesty, intelligence, sensitivity, etc..
