I have an autistic sister in regular kindergarten and she is very artistic! Anyone have any interesting stories or learning styles? Just want to hear about things you have discovered along the way… Thanks! :)

More info on autism and vaccines?

To you non believers, if you will bother to read this, what are your thoughts on this? There IS a link between disease and vaccines……many folks dont even vaccinate pets anymore, I dont understand why human medicine is so far behind animal medicine on this?? The links from vaccinating pets to horrible life threatening diseases is even recognised by the big vet schools….which is why all the vaccine protocols are changing. I cant understand the mentality which encourages human medicine to drag its feet on this issue when clearly, lives are at stake?

PERMISSION TO REPOST:
The following message is so profound, you will feel it in your
bones. If you want to see the autism puzzle in its most complete
form, read this:
Dr. Moulden, from www.amassnetwork.com , in my opinion, just finished
the autism puzzle. He says that things like alzhiemers,
schizophrenia, Gulf War Syndrome, autism, learning disabilities,
sudden infant death, and likely a bunch more diagnoses are really
lack of oxygen to the brain. He says that vaccines cause the ends of
tiny capillaries to swell, cutting off the oxygen supply to various
parts of the brain and other parts of the body. Now, of course,
toxins and pathogens also cause this. So this explains why all the
PET scans show lack of oxygen to the brain in mental illnesses,
developmental illnesses, etc. Dr. Moulden further explains how facial
movements are directly correlated with the parts of the brain
effected. The correlation of facial movements/expressions to
psychiatric and other symptoms is something I am familiar with from
my own professional background.
This explains why we have to do so many things to help our children;
we have to increase blood flow, kill pathogens and detox. This
explains why our children can’t detox. Their blood is not flowing to
the toxins. This is explains all the pathogens. Pathogens grow
where there is dead tissue. Hulda Clark explains this in her
book, “The Cure for All Diseases”, that toxins attract pathogens into
the brain. This also explains why so many do well with things that
increase oxygen in the brain.
We have been knowing that our children have lack of oxygen to the
brain, but now its like my brain has been opened to the fact that,
yes, its lack of oxygen, so rid the toxins, pathogens, and increase
that blood flow to revive those capillaries. Our children are really
stroke victims. It all makes sense now. I don’t want to downplay any
of the theories out there on contributing to ill health. I think
most all of them have merit, but I think the common denominator is
this lack of blood flow, either the result of pathogens and toxins,
or the cause of them to start stock-piling or both.
Love and prayers,
Heidi N
PS- I have no affilation with Dr. Moulden. I am a researcher, and my
children are recovered from autism.

How to know if a child has autism?

I ask questions for people* :D

My brother turned 3 on September, and still can’t speak.
Is that a sign of autism? Because I read somewhere that it was, if the child learns to speak real late.
He can explain things with his hands real good, and understands my parents and when I speak. And he has this toy laptop, where it has pictures and it asks to find it, and he can get every single one of them right.
What other signs show that he may have autism?

When have your children/siblings started talking? (:
Our family doctor never asked about that or notices it /= Should I point it out?

Is this enough to get into USC?

I’m wondering what my odds at getting into UCLA and USC are.

I have a 3.8 GPA (higher when factoring in AP bonus). I took two AP English classes (scored a 4 on one, a 5 on the other) and I would have taken more except I went through a family crisis and missed a lot of school (I plan on mentioning this in any interviews, etc.). I was Editor-in-Chief of my high school newspaper two years in a row, and also designed the layout for the online edition.

I was a Silver Award winner for the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards (1 of about 30 kids nationally), and was one of about 500 nationally-recognized 11th-grade English students. I won a statewide writing competition in my sophomore year.

I volunteered at a local non-profit children’s musical theatre (close to 200 hours worth of community service), worked as a social coach for a little boy with autism, was in numerous school plays, filmed two independent music videos (featured in the local paper), and am represented by a sought-after New York-based entertainment lawyer.

I helped co-author a children’s book and a YA fantasy novel with a New York Times bestselling author (she’s represented by Kurt Vonnegut’s publishing agent so, as her co-writer, I am, too … sort of), I wrote a screenplay, adapted a Jane Austen novel into a two-act play (and almost got it produced last year).

My dad went to UCLA. My grandmother, grandfather and uncle went to USC.

I haven’t taken the SAT or the Subject Tests yet — that’s next month — but I got a perfect score on the Reading portion of my P-SAT.

Oh, and I’m a California resident.

Oh! And the letter of recommendation I got so far was absolutely lovely. And I think my essays are good.

I forgot to mention that I was also Freshman Class Representative and Sophomore class Secretary/Treasurer.

SO … USC graduates, students: What are my odds?

my boyfriend is 17 years old living with aspergers. we have been going out for 2 months now and i found out a while ago that he has aspergers. what is it, and what should i expect from him? i dont wanna lose him because i wanna understand how i can help him too. is there anyway for me to help him?
my bf is also ashamed of it, how do i show him not to be ashamed of it?
